MILTON HOUSE
MORTGAGE & PROTECTION
ABOUT ME
Before becoming a mortgage and protection advisor, I spent 19 years working in a police control room. It was a role I genuinely loved and one that taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen properly, and solve problems when it really mattered. After years of shift work, it felt like the right time for a change and a career that offered more balance while still allowing me to support people through important moments in their lives.
Those skills now sit at the heart of how I work in mortgages. I focus on explaining things clearly, keeping people informed and being someone clients can rely on when the process feels overwhelming. Protection is also something I care deeply about. Having seen how quickly life can change, I believe it is important that people have the right cover in place so they and their families are supported if the unexpected happens. Whether you are buying your first home, moving, remortgaging, or navigating more complex circumstances, my aim is always to make things feel manageable and to be there from start to finish.
Outside of work, I live in the countryside with my fiancé and 3 children and we are currently renovating our home, slowly but surely! I enjoy book club, which more often than not turns into a wine night, and I love networking, meeting like minded people, and supporting local businesses. Building relationships and being part of the community is something I really value and it is a big part of why I enjoy what I do.
